Quick and Easy Indian Recipes for Every Week

Time-Saving Meal Plans: Indian Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Recipes
Now, as we have learned in our previous blog, it is necessary to first organize your kitchen and then stock it with the required pulses, spices, etc., in proper places to start cooking faster and more efficiently. If you haven’t read it, you may refer to the previous post under this category. Now, let’s move on to the next step: creating certain lists to save your time and energy during actual cooking. We need to prepare lists for the items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a weekly basis, which can be repeated for a month before changing them with a few new items. This way, you will save a lot of energy in deciding what to cook and in stocking items in advance for cooking.

Before actually starting regular cooking, here are two useful tips:
- Always keep your refrigerator stocked with paneer (cheese), curd, and boiled potatoes.
- Take some time to use your food processor or hand chopper to chop onions, garlic, green chilies, and tomatoes at the same time, and store them in the refrigerator. Also, grate the ginger and chop the coriander (if available) at the same time and store everything in the refrigerator. This may work for you for 2-3 days. One precaution to keep in mind is to always store them in closed containers, especially garlic and onion, otherwise, your entire refrigerator will be filled with their smell, which you may not like Still, if the smell persists, you can place a few cloves soaked in water in a bowl in the refrigerator, and it will help eliminate the unpleasant odor.
